Conclusion and final insights

If I think back to the last 4 weeks, I feel like I learned more things about myself and who I would like to be as a designer. I enjoyed the speculative aspect and the room for imagination of the new frontiers. I also got some more insights about what New Frontiers means. I especially liked the lecture by Elliott P. Montgomery. I would have liked to get more insights like this one.

The assignment didn't really inspire me from the beginning and I had trouble understanding it. Nevertheless, I learned that experimenting with visualising an idea can help a lot to refine the concept we had. In the beginning I had difficulties understanding what was asked from us. As soon as we actually tried to visualise our idea I realised what the teachers wanted to tell us in the feedback sessions.

For future assignments I will try to apply this lesson and start earlier with visualising and sketches.
