Mapping

With this experiment I wanted to use the bold property (wind) in order to create a work. The first step was painting with wind itself. The second step was implementing the qualities of wind into an animation. I used the wind property on cinema 4D to create flags and I made them move differently. This is inspired by the flags and fabrics I saw moving during the walk.

Intervention - strange expressions

I used artificial intelligence in order to generate images from words and sentences which I encountered during the course. The first chapter is about words and sentences that I heard on the street. My main sentence was "You can't stop dancing, dancing is forever". I generated a few images from this sentence and was observing how they change each time. The second chapter is about words in my lexicon. I was curious how AI would visualise these terms. The last chapter is just random sentences that I wanted AI to interpret.

Strange expressions - We purchased some big and small canvases and two different mediums (markers and spray paint). Then we set them up in the city. The small ones we paired with the markers and the big ones with spray paint. We chose those two mediums because they feel different. Spray paint feels somehow more illegal while markers feel more legal.
